[1, 3] - Michael E. Bussiere, 60, of Norton formerly of Attleboro died unexpectedly on Friday March 31, 2006 at home. Born in Attleboro, MA on September 1, 1945 he was a dear son of the late Harvey E. and Louise J. (Bellavance) Bussiere Jr. He was educated in Attleboro and was a 1963 graduate of Attleboro High School. He was also a graduate of Providence College. After college he entered The United States Air Force serving during The Vietnam Era. He was honorably discharged with the rank of Staff Sergeant. He worked as an accountant for S.M. Lorusso & Sons in Walpole for several years before retiring. He had formerly worked as an accountant for The Bird Machine Co., also in Walpole for many years. He was a communicant of St. Marys Church in Norton. In his spare time he enjoyed collecting stamps and gardening. His family remembers him as a true sports enthusiast whose heart belonged to The Boston Red Sox. He had lived in Norton for the past 15 years and was formerly of Attleboro for most of his life. He is survived by his devoted children Kerry A. Hutchins and her husband Tim of North Attleboro and Matthew M. Bussiere of Pawtucket, R.I. His loving sister Cheryl A. Orth and her husband Stan of Austin, Texas. His dear aunts and uncle Anna Mae Howe and Ruth E. Czerwonka both of Norton and Leo O. Bellavance and his wife Gloria of Attleboro. His loving niece Jennifer Martin Rider and her husband David of Galveston, Texas. His former wife Doreen J. Coughlin of Pawtucket, R.I., as well as his many cousins. Prayer services, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held at The Norton Memorial Funeral Home 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave.) Norton. Burial will be in St. Stephens Cemetery, Attleboro MA.
