- It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Veronica (VeeVee) Bussiere on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital. With her family by her side, VeeVee left us after a 9-year courageous and valiant fight with cancer. In the end, cancer won. VeeVee came into this world fighting and left fighting. Predeceased by her parents Sandor and Phyllis Dobosi and her brother David Cullen (Virginia). Left to mourn are her husband Richard Clawson, her children Shannon (Yvan), Michel, Jennifer, Ashley (Mat) and her grandchildren Amber, Jaedon, Skylar, Mia and Asher. She also leaves behind her siblings Kathy (Fergus), Alayne (Jean-Marie), Faye (Paul), Ronald (Rhonda), Susan, Stephen, Sanda (Rob), Janey (Norm) and along with 14 nieces and nephews. VeeVee was a strong-willed, hard-working woman. She has the greatest strength to tackle anything life placed in front of her. She enjoyed cooking, but hated leftovers of any kind, craft making, fishing, listening to music and especially tuning in to " Cheers to Friday" by Mitch Jean. VeeVee treated everyone fairly and with respect, was loved by many who knew her and worked with her. She loved animals. One of VeeVee's favourite pastimes was playing dice with her family. Especially enjoyed winning and felt she never won enough times. The dice games would be the highlight of her family get togethers. No one could get excited as VeeVee when she won. VeeVee spoke with pride when she spoke of her children and grandchildren. VeeVee was a very private person.
