- Albert E. Bussiere, 77, of Manchester passed away Wednesday, August 10 at Elliot Hospital. He was born in Derry on September 9, 1939, son of the late Eddiemore J. Bussiere and Courana M. (Cournoyer) Bussiere. He was married to the late Dorothy (Currier) Bussiere for many years prior to her death in 2008.
Albert was a lifelong resident of Manchester. He started working at a very young age to help support his family, and was a truly hard worker his entire life. Most of his career was spent working for the G. Grant Moving Company for 45 years. He later worked for various companies.
He enjoyed hunting with his brothers Ronnie and Rene and playing cribbage. Most of all, he loved his family, especially giving them a hard time and antagonizing them. Despite being a tough guy on the outside who never showed weakness, he was soft on the inside. He was always working hard to take care of his family and he always made sure that they had everything they needed.
Albert joins in Heaven his parents; his wife, Dorothy; his son, Albert Jr.; his brothers Ronnie, Rene, Freddy and Billy; and his sisters Cecile and Irene.
He leaves behind his son, Edward Bussiere and wife Cindy of Manchester; daughter Tammy Floyd of Manchester; daughter Courina Senay and her husband Reginald of Manchester; daughter Dorothy Collins of Manchester; son Shawn Bussiere of Manchester; his sister, Arlene Bussiere of Manchester; along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held privately by the family at a later time.
