- Donna A (Bussiere) Amaral, 59, of Cumberland passed away Monday, April 27, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family after a three year battle with cancer. She was the wife of Joseph Amaral. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Gwendoline (Morris) Bussiere. She was a life-long resident of Cumberland. Mrs. Amaral was employed as a Medical Assistant for the Ocean State Medical for the past 12 years. She was previously employed by Balfour Inc. of Attleboro for many years. Donna was a communicant of St. John Vianney Church. She loved to go camping, enjoyed animals, but most of all loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was an especially devoted mom and caregiver for her son Jason. Besides her husband she leaves, her two sons, Eric J. Amaral and his wife Jillian of Plainville, MA and Jason M. Amaral of Cumberland; her three sisters, Jacqueline Cloutier of Maple Valley, WA, Eileen Contois of Cumberland and Carol Jencks of Cumberland; two grandchildren, Ryan J. Amaral and Reagan G. Amaral; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Normand Bussiere and Emile "Bill" Breault. A celebration of her life will be held Friday at 9 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in the St. John Vianney Church, Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in the Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
